How it works

The Process of Counseling:

Make an Appointment:

Call or use our convenient online scheduler to schedule your initial assessment.

Initial Assessment:

The first session is where we’ll get a sense of the most pressing challenges and assess some of the deeper issues that might be going on.
If this is an assessment of the family system, we’ll make sure to understand each family member’s thoughts and feelings.
We will begin the process of setting goals for your treatment in this session.

Collaborate:

During this phase, we’ll work together to help you discover new skills and practice effective strategies.
We’ll use a variety of techniques to achieve your desired results.
From session to session, we will debrief the skills and behaviors you are testing in your normal life and evaluate their success. We will continue to make adjustments to your plan as we go.
